NB: In order for us to comply with the crossing time of 6 minutes, from January 1, 2026 you must buy your ticket for Østre Færge before boarding the ferry.
A fee of DKK 20 will be added for purchasing a ticket during the crossing.

Payment service
Østre Færge offers payment service to our private and business customers who use monthly passes.
Anyone who wishes to participate in the service, which is voluntary, must submit information as specified below.
You will then be given a pass in the form of a plastic card, which must be placed on or by the windshield when boarding.
Every 1st of the month the monthly pass will be debited from the account provided, and an invoice emailed to the customer.
Cash payments are no longer required for monthly passes, and the card is valid until the customer terminates the service.
The service can be stopped permanently or temporarily, if there is no need for a monthly pass for a longer or shorter period.
The service can be terminated for the following month before the 10th of the previous month.
To avoid the long queues on board at the beginning of each month, we encourage the use of the payment service.

NOTE: If you are not connected to a payment service there is a charge of DKK 30 when purchasing a monthly pass on the ferry – regardless of how you pay.
Account
Instead of paying cash you can transfer the amount to our account and bring a receipt.
Payment to our bank account must show the product and buyer’s name on both the transfer and the receipt. Monthly and discount passes are issued on the ferry against proper documentation of payment.
