Information on the guidelines for subsidies for ferry fare reduction for 2025
GENERAL
The size of the grant depends on the funds Holbæk Municipality receives from the Home Office, and which the municipality forwards to Østre Færge A/S.
Based on the subsidy received and the expected transport during the subsidy period, Østre Færge A/S calculates a subsidy percentage that is then deducted from our normal prices.
If the grant received is used up during the subsidy period, the discount for the remaining period will be cancelled.
FREIGHT TRANSPORT
Subsidy period:
In 2025 there is a 25% subsidy on all freight transport. This also applies to drivers and assistants.
TRANSPORT OF CARS, PASSENGERS ETC.
Subsidy period:
In 2025 there is a 50% subsidy on all passenger transport.
PRICES
Net prices after deduction of subsidies for ferry fare reduction are stated on the website’s price list.
Monthly passes and discount cards can be bought in cash on the ferry or by bank transfer to the ferry’s account.
When transferring to our account, the name of the product and of the buyer must be stated on both the transfer and the receipt.
Monthly passes and discount cards are issued on the ferry against proper documentation of payment.
