REQUISITION FOR FERRY TRANSPORT WITH ØSTRE FÆRGE TO AND FROM ORØ
For customers, who pay for their ferry crossings via a monthly invoice, we have a system where the customer fills out a requisition with all relevant data before boarding the ferry.
The main reason for this is that the rules for subsidies to reduce ferry fares have necessitated substantial detail regarding the nature of each crossing. Since everyone wants to share in the extensive subsidies, and as Østre Færge must record each crossing’s use of the subsidies paid out, strict documentation of ticketing is essential.
As the crossing time is still only 6 to 8 minutes, there is not much time for detailed administration during the crossing.
The requisition can be downloaded as a form or file and filled in with all the necessary customer information as listed on the requisition.
The requisition can then be printed out in the required number and distributed to the drivers, who use the ferry.
Data of the actual crossing can then be filled in by the driver beforehand and the completed requisition handed over to the ticket clerk on the ferry. This saves a lot of time and reduces to a minimum the possibility of misunderstanding or error.

For customers who do not want the inconvenience of requisitions, we recommend paying for each crossing in cash or using our discount cards, which may, in many cases, offer a favourable price.
